A Welcome Back Message from Dr. Medina

Greetings Students, Parents, and the Asbury Park Community,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. As we embark on another school year filled with new beginnings, I am thrilled to share some exciting updates about our Asbury Park High School programming.

This time of year is naturally brimming with anticipation and optimism—not only for academic achievements but also for the cultivation of social connections and emotional well-being, which are integral to our students' lives and success. Our commitment to our students and families remains steadfast as we strive to nurture an environment that paves the way for sustained success.

We are excited to announce new partnerships, as well as expanded opportunities within our existing partnerships with theater companies and larger organizations, all designed to create access to new and exciting fields for our students.

Some of the new opportunities include:

Innovative Scheduling: We’ve designed a schedule that embeds academic enrichment and social-emotional development. Students will have access to certified teachers for additional academic help, advancement, test prep, and more within their school day. Additionally, they’ll have opportunities to engage in activities that spark both old and new interests.

Drama/Theater Programming
Film and A/V Club

As we embark on this journey, our dedicated staff is ready to guide and support your children. Our educators are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills in instruction and will participate in ongoing professional development to ensure they remain at the forefront of instructional methodologies and social-emotional learning practices. With a carefully curated collection of programs and resources, our teachers are prepared to inspire learning and growth every day.
